Thought for the week..

Happiness comes in many forms -- in the company of good friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else's dream come true, or in the promise of hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that happiness might be.

4th March 2015

If you find a way beyond what they say
And move through the hurdles put forth
Know well that soon even the guy on the moon
Won't be able to lash out a retort.
The days will be blue the feelings high too
But the trip is sure worth the cost
Be gone! If you're one who thinks it can't be done
Walk off the plank because on you it is lost.
And ye who thinks about the joy the way brings
Come forth and this garland of luck you wear
For there will be so many who will put you through tyranny
And at your will they will tear
But do not lose sight for there lays great might
In the will of the one who won't break
The treasure at the end of the rainbows bend
Is layed out only for the mighty to take
So reach out move ahead or soon you'll be dead
And lie among the myriad others
The flame of life is biased to none and in the end all of us it smothers
So if you find a way beyond what they say
And move through the hurdles that stood
Then the path by no one can it be undone
For one soul showed them she could.

2nd March 2015

Maybe it's me, I was born this way
To be amazed at all, the smallest things one says
To believe that the world is much more than what I see
To believe things mean more than what they ought to be
The simplest of things the most mundane
So many around me call me insane
Because I think this of that and more and more
For every moment is gold and mending the sore
Everything is an answer to a question I must have once asked
Everything is connected, my future present and past.
The world is a wonder awaiting my exploration
Something’s that I have seen are beyond my comprehension
Believing in something with all your heart can make it come true
It was such a simple task I consciously never knew
The universe around you has feelings like you
Do not ignore it and slowly let it permeate through
It will start simple with the most futile of things
Wait patiently for the beauties the wonders it brings
The day my mind my body my soul
Come together as one that day I'll be whole.
Till then I'll wonder and ponder some more
For there is so much that awaits you waiting for you to explore.

A Wrinkle in Time. 1 March 2015

A title I wanted to work on for so darn long and now I have finally done it!
Song playing: I'll meet you there - Owl City

She didn't know him much,
But then neither did he,
The before of their friendship,
Isn't part of their memory.
Heartbreaks and betrayals,
She has seen many,
But broken souls to mend,
She cannot leave out any.
A kind word he needed,
She gave him her all,
Another chance to heal herself,
Would she take the right call?
What if it turned on her?
Another hurt and pain.
What if all she got was,
To lose more than gain?
Get to know some more,
Find out the intent,
Is it her savior more than,
As the savior she was meant.
What joy he brought,
She could mend her broken wings,
And soar above in the skies again,
Oh what joys his presence brings.
And then the dark clouds come,
The rains deluge,
Wings wet heart drowning,
Back towards earth the lunge.
A backup a second choice,
A rebound was she,
Frail and falling now,
She loses her finesse.
Those wrinkles that were in her time,
Create a ripple now,
These wrinkles break the surface,
A wave they form somehow.
They used to be something she could bear,
With a beautiful brilliant smile,
Those ripples that used to lap at her feet,
Couldn't touch her for a while.
But now the waves rise,
High above her head,
Crash and burn and drown,
And now she is close to dead.
Another small wrinkle she sees,
As its light brilliant blue glows,
And she watches as its light,
Against the waves flows.
Breaking the pattern of the ripples,
Breaking the might,
A single wrinkle has come to save her,
Such a humbling sight.
But its path is long and hard,
She is too far gone,
The misery of them all has surmounted,
Too much she has borne.
How will one little wrinkle,
In her time try and change,
When she who mends all others,
Couldn't herself manage.
Either build or destroy,
Only one path can be,
Beautiful or black her future,
No one can foresee.
